Sony VAIO VGC-JS155J/P All-in-One Intel Desktop PC

Hey look at this, it’s an all-in-one, Sony Vaio PCG-2F2L is the model number, and as you can see, it’s a delightful pink one. This would be a great gift for I don’t know, a girl. There might be men in your life that want them too, I don’t know, I don’t want to completely generalize, but I’m guessing this will probably be for a woman in your life possibly… I dont know…yeah, I’m going to go ahead and stick with that. It’s a very nice computer, actually, 20.1-inch widescreen LCD on this thing, 1680 x 1050 resolution, so it’s got a nice high resolution, big, giant screen, it’s got a Core 2 Duo processor running at 2.53 gigahertz, it’s got four gigs of DDR2 RAM built in, so tons and tons of RAM in this machine, a 500-gigabyte SATA hard drive, and Vista Home Premium, 64-bit is on board. So while it may look a little girly, it’s very manly on the inside. You know, that didn’t come out quite the way I meant it, but it’s true, it’s a very, very serious beast of a machine inside this girly exterior. It’s got a DVD-RW drive, it’s got wireless A, B, wireless G, wireless N, it’s got bluetooth built into it, so you’ve got wireless everything built into this thing, it does have a 1.3-megapixel webcam up here, and it’s just a really impressive package. It’s a very nice all-in-one, it’s very slim, very thin if you want to take a look at the side here, I mean, look at that, it’s just a hunk of gorgeousness right there, look at that. For graphics inside, we’ve got the Intel integrated X4500, integrated graphics solution, so it’s not a gaming machine, no, but it is going to do Vista quite well, it’s going to do your less demanding 3D games pretty well, it’s going to handle just about anything short of hardcore 3D games, this computer is going to be able to do quite nicely. It does have a really nice keyboard, it’s got that chiclet-style keyboard, very thin, very small, stores very nicely underneath the computer when you’re not using it, actually, and there are some nice buttons up here for getting to some quick-access features, you can put the computer to sleep very quickly right here, this is a user-programmable button, out of the box, this S1 button here actually comes programmed to launch media center, so you push that button and up on the screen comes our media center panel right there, so you can very easily get to all of your TV shows and everything, which is pretty cool, especially a computer like this is great for a dorm room or bedroom where you might actually be able to replace a TV with something like this. It also has buttons for searching and for volume control, and they’re all located there across the top of the keyboard. It also comes with a two-button optical mouse with a scroll wheel, and that’s there too. And of course it all looks very nice together, it’s all color-coordinated, I mean, I would expect a pink laptop to be color-coordinated, and it is. Let’s go ahead and look at the side, so you can see where all the plugs and such are. Over here we’ve got a few connectors, take a look here. Right over here we do have your MemoryStick Pro reader right here, as well as an SD card reader, a couple USB ports, we also have a headphone port, microphone port, and line-in port and a hard switch to be able to turn your wireless on and off is right there. And on the back is where you’re going to find just a few more USB ports right there, you’re also going to find an optical output for hooking up to a home stereo system, we got Firewire on board this bad boy and also gigabit LAN is located right here, and power just plugs in right here with that DC adapter. And then over here on what would be your right-hand side of the computer is where you’re going to find your DVD-RW drive, which is located right here, similar to the ones that you would find in a laptop computer is right here. Easy access for watching your DVDs and burning all of your CDs and DVDs as well. It’s a very, very svelte and attractive computer, I mean don’t let the fact that it’s girly on the outside and manly, beastly on the inside creep you out at all, because it looks quite nice, actually. Solid computer. Go out and look at it, it’s a great gift for like, say a… a girl. Or a dude, I don’t know. I don’t want to keep generalizing but, you know, let’s be honest, it’s pink. So go have a look at it, Core 2 Duo, 2.53 gigahertz, four gigs of RAM, 500-gigabyte SATA hard drive, this thing’s going to be able to handle anything that you can throw at it with pretty much- with ease, and it’s going to do it well, and it’s got everything you need built right in to this very small package. I mean, literally, to get this thing up and running you only need to plug in three cords, you’ve got to plug in your power, plug in your keyboard, plug in your mouse, and you’re good to go. You don’t even have to plug in anything else as long as you have a wireless access point at home. So, great machine, it’s the Sony Vaio PCG-2F2L. 1. The keyboard is just like the imacs, although i prefer macs, so i wouldn't buy a mac just because of the design however that is a determining factor. BTW an iMac looks better, for one it is a lot thinner.

  2. same here, the iMac looks so much better and is so much more powerful and runs OS X and Windows if you want, You cant run OS X on that

  3. The simple fact that You can run windows on iMacs totally explains why they have close to no percentage of the Computer market.

  4. ok first off the imac does not have all of thoes features second it may look like a imac but does not act like a imac so FUCK OFF!

  5. the 1 im getting have 2.8 ghz and a nivida or somthing graphics card 9600 gs or gt somthing like that i think that can handle game like wow? reply if u think so

  6. god DAMNIT, your BOTH fan boys…

NEWSFLASH: in 7 months both will be out dated…

plus both can't play newer games very well, so whats the fucking point of 4GB and 64-bit?

ps – fuck apple and their "apple tax"

pps – both comps are for pussies and little girls

  7. Give me a tower any day, I love to mess with the insides of my PC and actually have a graphics card capable of playing now day games. all-in-ones are restrictive like that. I mean I'm not bashing apple, I mean I'd love to see them make a more budget friendly tower PC capable of being easily upgraded by the user (i mean more then ram and a hard drive)

  8. man sony totally ripped the iMac off -.- hell even the KEYBOARD .. come on what happened to your awesome vaio towers

  9. And you're trying to sound like you know what you're talking about. I'm pretty sure Sony invented the chicklet keyboard, you Neanderthal.

  10. its not a rip off the imac sucks sony owns i have had this for 8 months i can run halflife 2 on full graphics i can run wow i can run anything its powerful it doesnt ever slow down its the best and i recomend this trust me if u get this u will love it.

  11. actually there were PC's before Apple that were all in one, in fact there were only all in one PC's until about 1985. For example IBM 5100 came out Sept, 1975, Apple I came out March 1976.

  12. Macs may cost more but there a good reason. It doesnt crash as much as windows. No virus. and its just plane awesome….and i love final cut pro…..but this sony is a good alternative and yes they beat apple with the blu-ray

  13. I bought this a year ago… not the pink version – mines all silver. When Windows 7 came out I bought the 64 bit version and it works perfectly with the PC. It also doesn't slow down AT ALL when I play games on it! I play Resident Evil 4 on it and it's just as fast as it is on my PS3. I've also played Sims 3 on it (though I know the boys didn't want to know that!). All in all – BEST decision I ever made!! It hardly takes up any space either!

  14. @nephersir7 no, but Apple did pioneer the all in one style of PC, and other manufacturers wouldn't be making them if it wasn't for Apple. say what you want about Apple, but they're the one company in this industry that set the bar for quality in computers.

  15. this all in one's internet connection doesn't need to be connected to a wireless router???? OMG! where can i go look at it???

  16. I'm sorry but I just can't take your review seriously with so many jokes about manliness or lack thereof thrown into the video. Try a little more professionalism next time. We all know there are other colors available so quit making a big deal over it and just get straight to the specifications and product demonstration.

  17. i have this but in silver and i have one major problem wit it, it overheats alot it gives me about 4.5 hours of on and then just turns off other than that everytings good (:

  18. I have this computer could I play skyrim on it btw I would only want the graphics up to the standard of an xbox 360

  19. omg same.. i have the silver one and whenever i play sims 3 it turns off with in an hour.. and its REALLY hot. it recently started doing this, but when i first got the computer it never did this

  20. IF your looking to buy a cumputer like this get the Vizio All in one its much better my brother has to vaio And i have the Vizio mine runs much faster and smoother 😀
