How to use Multi-Touch gestures on your Mac — Apple Support

You can navigate on your Mac using intuitive gestures
on your trackpad. Let’s explore a few of them. Let’s start with
secondary click. This gesture is like
right-clicking with a mouse. To do this,
click or tap with two fingers. Now let’s try
the Smart zoom gesture to quickly zoom in and out. Double-tap with two fingers
to zoom in and double-tap to zoom out. Or you can use two fingers
to smoothly zoom in for a close-up on a photo,
webpage, or document. Spread two fingers apart
to zoom in, then pinch your fingers together
to zoom back out. You can also slide two fingers
up or down to scroll. If you need to access your
desktop quickly, you can do this by spreading your thumb
and three fingers apart. Then reverse this gesture to place your windows back
where they were. You can use Look up to see more
information when you’re looking at a webpage, document,
or Mail message. This action will be
a little different depending on your trackpad. If you have
a Force Touch trackpad, you can click and then
firmly press with one finger to look something up. If you don’t have Force Touch,
just tap with three fingers. Need to launch a different app? Pinch your thumb
and three fingers together to display Launchpad. You can customize gestures
to fit your needs, see additional gestures, or get a refresher on these
gestures in System Preferences. To do this,
click System Preferences. Then click Trackpad. You’ll see all the gestures
your trackpad recognizes and you’ll be able
to turn them on or off. Now you can navigate your Mac
just the way you want. For more helpful tips like this, subscribe to

  1. Let's say you have a gift card and you want to use it, but you have a family gathering thingy on, so would you be able to use that gift card?

I have bought new MacBook Pro from New Delhi, India and only after a week my MacBook touchbar is not working well. I saw the light was dim and not that bright as it was in the beginning. As I checked with the service store of apple here, they took it and said to exchange parts within 2-3 days and will be given back after clearing the issue. After a week, I got the call from the store to take my MacBook back. As I reached there and checked, it was still the same and nothing was done right. Now they said 2-3 days more to be given to them so that they can rectify the issue. As I am a working man and my data and everything is done through my notebook, how I should manage it if no solution of a NEW MacBook pro is given to me. This is very sad and very bad service I have ever seen from apple.
