£450 Entry-Level Gaming PC | Viper FX Showcase

Hello everyone, are you wanting an affordable gaming PC that will get you comfortably into the PC Gaming Scene? Well this £450 Viper FX is the PC for you! In this video I’ll be doing a rundown of the specs, giving you my thoughts and some information about it and then we’ll jump into some benchmarks at the end. It is the Venom Case. It’s a very stylish gaming case. On the top we have a power and a reset button. We have 1 USB 3.0 port and 2 USB 2.0 ports and we have a headphone/microphone jack. On the back of the case we have 6 USB Ports – 4 x USB 2.0 & 2 x USB 3.0 It’s got 3 different types of outputs – HDMI, DVI and VGA. Speaker and microphone jack is also on the back with an ethernet port for using ethernet cables. On the graphics card there is 3 outputs – HDMI, DVI and VGA. It’s got an AMD FX-4300 CPU and that’s paired with the AMD Stock Heatsink. The Graphics Card is the NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti 2GB and it’s got 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz Corsair RAM. The motherboard is the Gigabyte GA-78LMT and the power supply is Corsair 450w PSU. This PC also has a 250GB SSD and is running on Windows 10 Home 64 Bit. The Viper FX is our cheapest pre-designed Gaming PC coming in at just £450 and it is a fantastic PC to get you started into the PC scene. This PC can play mid-to-high range games at 60FPS. These may not be in Ultra settings all the time but you’re still going to be getting 60FPS on any game and that is the standard FPS that you need for a good PC gaming experience. The good thing about this PC as well is that it’s affordable and it has good components. Even if you’re only playing £450, you’re getting some good stuff in this system. The AMD FX-4300 are great as for the price you pay for them you get even better performance. They are very reliable CPUs. I’ve had experience with the FX 4100, the FX 8320 and the FX 8350. This PC helps if your game isn’t very graphically demanding as it still means your game will perform even better just because of the extra CPU power. This can be seen in games such as Counter-strike and Left 4 Dead which I’ll benchmark now. We have 8GB RAM in the system which is the recommended amount for a starting Gaming PC. Some games use more RAM than others and this is shown in games such as Minecraft which I’ll show you now! If you want to buy this PC primarily for Minecraft I recommend that you upgrade to 16GB of RAM to get the FPS bonus. It does help that we have the SSD in the system as it speeds up the loading of the world but the extra RAM definitely does help! The graphics card is a fantastic card – it’s the 750 Ti which comes with a software called Geforce Experience. Geforce Experience is NVIDIAs software which tackles drivers and your games optimisation. What this software does is it automatically updates your graphics card to the latest drivers and it tweaks your game settings in order to get the best FPS for your build.
